Travel Monday :: My bed

This far away exotic land offers everything my heart, head and eyes want. Worked 83.5 hours this last week (but who is counting) and tomorrow will be my first day off in 3 weeks. I cannot wait to lay in my bed with my doggie at my side and snore my ass off!

A thing of beauty

Palazzina Grassi via Tablet.com
I have become obsessed with looking at beautiful hotel in beautiful cities. Most of the time I could never afford to stay in these places, but a girl can dream, right? This gem is in Venice - a city I have been to, but I can tell you my room looked NOTHING like this. I don't even think I could totally stand up in my room....

LA or bust

It is a ways off, and I actually have two trips before LA at the end of May, BUT I am really excited. It has been 10 years since the last time I was in LA so I am excited to see it in a new light. You know- older and with more pocket money. Here are some pretty places I plan to see.

Sweet Tooth

How beautiful are these images. Vintage shots from candy shops and soda fountains. What a simpler time.

Burger.

Last night after I got off work I met boyfriend at Target. I had to return something, and of course found something else that I needed because you can not leave Target without any purchases! Afterwards we went to grab a burger and a beer (OK, two beers) at The Local. They have this Bison Burger with a tomato chipotle relish that is fantastic! This morning however both of us woke up and had slept horribly! We chalked it up to the burger. I had a crazy dream that I was at the Minnesota State Fair and Jessica Simpson was there selling pieces of pie, but she wouldn't sell one to me because she said that she had heard me call her fat--and I so did not! Crazy dream, right? Do you remember your dreams often? I used to, not much any more. This one made me laugh!
