Girl Crush - Cara Delevigne

I have done a post on Cara's sister Poppy - who is also super cool and funky. It is just not fair is it? Model sisters, British, tall, blonde, and rail thin. Cara can make me buy anything on ASOS.com, and when it arrives I throw it on and want to puke. I look nothing like Cara did in this poncho. How can that be? OH, I am none of the things listed above. Damn it!

In the mood

to make some food love! As the weather turns, my eyes and stomach start to yearn for all those heavy, savory dishes that the summer heat takes from us. I love to cook, and when my apartment is not 90 degrees it makes it a much more enjoyable hobby! Bring on the crockpot, it's cookn' time!

Travel Monday :: My bed

This far away exotic land offers everything my heart, head and eyes want. Worked 83.5 hours this last week (but who is counting) and tomorrow will be my first day off in 3 weeks. I cannot wait to lay in my bed with my doggie at my side and snore my ass off!

Jeans will forever be my favorite article of clothing. My favorite pair are about to have a blow out in the bum region-so sad. It's one of those pairs that I have had for a least 3 years. They have been everywhere with me. Look at all these stylish peeps rocking denim their way.

NY fashion week and London fashion week thus far have left me feeling underwhelmed. Like I was THIS CLOSE, but I just couldn't get off. There have been a few standouts (see above), but no one's entire collection has taken my breath away. I have to admit that the Spring shows are harder for me to get excited about. Can't put my finger on it.

Travel Monday :: Turkey

My bestie took a trip here last year. She said it is her favorite spot ever, and this lady has been all over the world. That says a lot to me, and looking at these pictures I see why! I have never been anywhere with architecture like that. All with a crystal clear ocean steps away-yes please!

Color for the season

As the the air gets cooler and the leaves change, everything starts to glow with an orange hue. Orange also continues to be a dominate color on the runways, as we saw again this season. Making me and my ginger hair very happy that we will stay current with the trends. Orange is one of those amazing colors that can evoke so many feelings all at once. In September it means both warm and cool on a collision path, diving straight into fall.
