My new babies.

Yesterday boyfriend and I spent all day together celebrating our birthdays, which were really on Monday. We went to brunch and had Bloody Mary's. Then we went to Neiman's were he bought me my present--MY FIRST PAIR OF LOUBOUTIN'S!!! I am so excited! There are so classic and beautiful and HIGH! Of course today it is snowing buckets outside, so my new babies will have to live in my closet for much longer than I would like! After the shoes we went to a movie, then to happy hour and finally home! I think it is my best birthday so far! Isn't my boyfriend the best??

Busy B.

Things have been so busy lately. I had one final last night and have one more next week. I start a new class on Monday-which is also our birthday. The salon is also taking part in "Fashion Fight Night" next Saturday night. We are doing 18 models-12 women, 6 men. That's a lot! I volunteered to be creative lead for the hair. I made 6 head bands that were very much inspired by the one that went down the runway for DVF S/S '09 show. 6 of the women will be wearing them, the others will be in some dramatic Heidi braids!

Non-Drowsy DayQuil

Today I do not feel well at all, but at least I can talk. This means I can go to work, with the help of my friend DayQuil. He will help keep my nose from running all over my clients. Since it seems like I won't be able to have much fun this weekend, I look back fondly on last Saturday night at Mary's house. Belgium beer night--yummy fun!

our birthday's are fast approaching

after the first night i met my boyfriend i learned that we share the same birthday! weird, right? he is however a year older and i remind him of that often. he is not an easy person to buy for, and so far what i have come up with is a pair of rock and republic jeans (his idea), and some photos that i spruced up from vacations we have taken together. i need more ideas!!!
